antarctica Expedition

In December 2017, The North Face sponsored a team of athletes to climb mountains in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. The squad, captained by Cedar Wright, included all-star climbers Alex Honnold, Conrad Anker, Savannah Cummins, Anna Pfaff, and Jimmy Chin. I built a kit of colors with two purposes: visibility in harsh, white-out conditions and color blocking with brand DNA. Each athlete chose a unique color configuration to ensure they could be easily recognized in the landscape. Upon the athletes’ return, Expedition Antarctica became the most celebrated TNF expedition in the past five years.
