Each project starts with powerful concept development and research. I believe in the power of collaboration and workshopping ideas together. Asking ourselves, what global trends are influencing the market? What cultural events are influencing our values? We considered climate change and the impact that textile dyes have on our environment. This led to the birth of initiatives like “Sustainable Color” and challenging our internal and external resources to adopt environmentally safe products and manufacturing practices.

As a representative of the Women’s Business Council, I focused on delivering a women’s design vision for The North Face that considered the modern active and outdoor lifestyle consumer.
